The Aloha Beach Festival returns to Surfer's Point and Promenade Park in Ventura on September 5–6.

Expect two days of Hawaiian and Polynesian culture, live music, hula, food, vendors and plenty of beach atmosphere. It's also a free, family-friendly event.

The 805 Social Club — Camarillo

Looking for live music Saturday evening?

The 805 Social Club is our Camarillo pick for the weekend, with music scheduled for Saturday, September 5 at 6:30 p.m.

A good option if your idea of Labor Day weekend involves music, friends and something a little more relaxed.

80s Invasion — Channel Islands Harbor, Oxnard

Break out the neon.

80s Invasion closes out the Concerts by the Sea summer series at Harbor View Park in Oxnard on Saturday, September 5 from 4–6 p.m.

The concert is free, and the Harbor recommends bringing a picnic, blanket or lawn chairs.

11th Annual Labor Day Tractor Fair — Santa Paula

For something completely different, head to the Agriculture Museum in Santa Paula on Monday, September 7 from 11 a.m.–2 p.m.

The Labor Day Tractor Fair features vintage tractors, family activities and a chance to experience a little of Ventura County's agricultural history. Admission is free.

23rd Annual Ventura Nationals — Ventura

If you're into classic cars, this might be the pick of the weekend.

The 23rd Annual Ventura Nationals takes over the Ventura County Fairgrounds Saturday, September 5 from 9 a.m.–5 p.m.

Expect cars, live music, art, vendors and more at one of Ventura's long-running automotive events.
