Meet Pinto Bean: Rick And Dawn’s Pet of the Week

Some dogs have a way of winning you over almost immediately.

Meet Pinto Bean, this week's featured pup in Rick And Dawn’s Pet of the Week with Ventura County Animal Services.

He's four years old, playful, loves treats and toys, and based on what we saw during our visit, he has plenty of personality packed into one very cute little dog.

And yes, Pinto Bean may be one of our favorite dog names yet.

Meet Pinto Bean

During our visit with Ventura County Animal Services, we learned that Pinto Bean is currently comfortable sharing kennel space with another dog.

For a household that already has a dog, Ventura County Animal Services can help determine whether the dogs may be a good match, including arranging an appropriate introduction.

Of course, every dog and every household is different, so potential adopters should work directly with the VCAS team to determine the best fit.

What Is Pinto Bean Like?

The easiest word for him might be fun.

Pinto Bean showed us a playful side right away. He enjoys:

• Toys, especially the squeaky kind
• Treats
• Attention and interaction
• Spending time with people
• Having a canine friend around

And underneath all that playful energy is a dog who is waiting for something much more important:

a family of his own.
